Accessibility
The Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management wants everyone – whether they have no disability, a permanent disability, or a temporary disability – to be able to use its online services easily. That is why we are continuously working to improve the digital accessibility of this website.
The Digital Government Act (Wdo) states that government websites must comply with the accessibility requirements EN 301 549/WCAG 2.1. Governments must account for this in a published accessibility statement.
This statement applies to www.dutchclimaterisk.com.

How we improve the accessibility of this website
From the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, we improve digital accessibility by:
- Accessibility from the start. For new websites, we consider accessibility from the very beginning at every stage, including design, development and content.
- Research into the status of accessibility. Experts assess (parts of) the website for accessibility. Identified problems are resolved in a sustainable way wherever possible.
- Knowledge among employees. Through an internal campaign, we raise awareness among our employees about the importance of digital accessibility and what it involves. We provide training courses and e-learning for various staff members.
