The Climate Adaptation Knowledge Platform is the central information hub for climate adaptation in the Netherlands. It is designed for governments, businesses, educators, students, civil society organisations and residents.

What does the portal offer?

The Climate Adaptation Knowledge Platform aims to foster the goal of climate-proofing the Netherlands and enhancing the country’s water resilience. The portal supports the National Adaptation Strategy (NAS) and the Delta Plan on Spatial Adaptation, a component of the national Delta Programme. It features practical information, useful tools, inspiring examples, and the latest news.

Who developed the portal?

Developed in 2014, the knowledge portal is managed and maintained by Climate Adaptation Services (CAS), under the authority of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. Foundation CAS ensures that the portal is kept up to date with the latest know-how, data, and instruments, in close collaboration with knowledge institutes and consultancies.
