Environmental Health Atlas
The Environmental Health Atlas is an interactive, map-based portal that visualises how local environmental factors influence health and well-being. It is developed for a broad range of users: policymakers, researchers, health professional, and citizens.
What does the atlas offer?
On the portal you will find interactive maps covering air quality, noise levels, green and blue spaces, climate-related risks, soil contamination and more. You can use the “Check your place” widget to generate an environmental scorecard for any address, browse themed map layers in the map library and dive into real-life stories in the “Explore your neighbourhood” section.
Who developed the atlas?
The atlas is part of the Environmental Health Atlas suite, developed and maintained by the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) on behalf of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.
