Public Services on the Map
Public Services on the Map (PDOK) is the national platform for accessing open geospatial data from the Dutch government. It is useful for anyone interested in location-based information.
What can you find on the platform?
PDOK offers a wide range of maps and datasets that show how the Netherlands is organised and changing. On the platform you can:
- Explore maps that show buildings, roads, water bodies, land use, energy networks and more—covering both urban and rural areas.
- View aerial imagery and 3D visualisations that help you understand the physical layout of the country.
- Discover data collections that support planning, environmental monitoring, infrastructure design and public services.
- Access up-to-date information that is freely available and ready to use in your own applications or analyses.
Who developed PDOK?
PDOK is a collaboration between Netherlands Cadastre, Land Registry and Mapping Agency (Kadaster), the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, Rijkswaterstaat, Geonovum and other public organisations. The platform is managed by Kadaster and continuously improved to meet user needs.
