Access to pluvial flood data
For pluvial flooding, we refer to the national-level and publicly available dataset. This dataset considers the flood depth associated with short, severe precipitation: 70 millimeters in two hours. Please refer to the Assumptions & limitations page for more information about the datasets.

| Description |
The result of computer simulations, this map provides an indication of the maximum flood depth that may occur at a particular location because of severe rainfall: 70 mm of precipitation in two hours. More information can be found on the Climate Impact Atlas map narrative. Note: a downpour of 70 mm in 2 hours will occur, on average, every 100 years in the current climate. |
